Lacock is a lesser-known, charming village that dates back to the Saxon era. Many of the beautiful structures originally formed part of a vast monastic complex and are now under the stewardship of The National Trust. The village is so picturesque that it has served as the backdrop for numerous films and television dramas, including Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and more recently, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
