Terms & Conditions

Clear Terms, Straightforward Booking Confidence

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sightseeing Tours website and any enquiries or bookings made through it.

2. Who we are

Sightseeing Tours
International House,
142 Cromwell Road,
Kensington,
London
SW7 4EF

Email: enquiries@sightseeingtours.co.uk

3. Our role

We may act as:

  • A provider of travel information and customer support, and or
  • An agent introducing you to third party tour and experience operators

Many bookings are completed via a third party booking platform accessed from our site.
Where this applies, your booking may be subject to the operator’s terms and conditions and policies in addition to these Terms.

4. Website use

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with site functionality. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

5. Booking and confirmation

  • Bookings are made by selecting your chosen product and completing the checkout process.
  • You must provide accurate information (including names as shown on passports where relevant).
  • A booking is confirmed when you receive confirmation from the booking platform or operator, usually by email.

6. Prices and payments

  • Prices shown are subject to availability and may change until you complete checkout.
  • Payments are typically processed by the third party booking and payment provider at checkout.
  • Any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility.

7. Tour inclusions and exclusions

What is included is shown on each tour page and or at checkout. Please read inclusions carefully. Items not explicitly included (for example meals, transport to a meeting point, optional attractions) are not included unless stated.

8. Changes and cancellations by you

Cancellation and amendment rules vary by product and are shown at checkout and or in your booking confirmation. Because we work with multiple operators, you should always check the specific policy for your selected tour.

If you need help understanding the policy before booking, contact us and we will assist.

9. Changes and cancellations by the operator

Tour operators may need to change or cancel a service due to operational reasons, weather, safety, or events outside their control. Where this occurs, the operator will usually offer an alternative date, alternative tour, or refund in line with their policy.

10. Travel documents and entry requirements

For international travel and certain rail trips, you are responsible for ensuring you have:

  • A valid passport
  • Any required visas, permits, or entry permissions
  • Any required health documentation

You must also allow sufficient time for check-in, security, and border controls.

11. Health, accessibility, and special requirements

Please tell us or the operator about accessibility requirements or medical conditions that may affect participation before booking. Some tours may not be suitable for all guests.

12. Behaviour and safety

You must follow safety instructions from guides, operators, and venue staff. Operators may refuse participation where behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or abusive. In such cases, refunds may not be available.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

Where we act as an agent, the tour operator is responsible for delivering the service and their terms will apply.

14. Complaints

If you have a complaint:

  1. Contact the operator promptly during the tour where possible, so they have a chance to resolve it.
  2. If you still need help, contact us at enquiries@sightseeingtours.co.uk with your booking reference and details.

15. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, branding, images, design) is owned by or licensed to Sightseeing Tours. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish content without permission.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
