2 days to explore the
magnificent Scottish Highlands past and present. Highlights
of the tour include the wilderness of Glencoe, steeped in
its grim history. A walk in Glen Nevis (scenes of
"Braveheart") beneath Scotland's highest mountain. Spooky
Loch Ness including the off-the-beaten track south side and
a night in Inverness.
The second day's
highlights include Glen Affric, film location of "The Last
of the Mohicans" with scenery that takes you back 500 years
to the glory of the Caledonian Forest, and Urquhart Castle,
before returning to Edinburgh through the Splendour of the
Grampian mountains.
N.B. The tour price
