It is home to priceless works of art, 40 acres of fabulous gardens, and an imposing tower that affords spectacular views of the River Arun and across the South Downs. After lunch rejoin the train and head to Portsmouth dockyard where Admiral Nelsons flagship awaits. The HMS Victory is the worlds oldest commissioned warship and is famous for the role it played in helping defeat Napoleon in the Battle of Trafalgar exactly 200 years ago.
