Liverpool
- We leave Euston Station at 07:00 hrs and arrive
at Lime Street Station at 09:50 hrs. Free time to
explore the restored Albert Dock, also worth
visiting is the impressive Roman Catholic
Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. This
modern circular Cathedral has magnificent stained
glass, many contemporary works of art and a
monumental crypt by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Also not to
be missed is Chinatown, the Liverpool and
Merseyside Museums and many art
galleries.
Next
we catch the "Magical Mystery Tour" dedicated to
the Beatles. Visit the notorious Cavern, Penny Lane
and other landmarks made famous by the 'Fab
Four'.
The
tour lasts two hours.
We
leave Liverpool at 17:45 hrs and return to London
at approximately 20:40 hrs.
