The Rhineland is one of the most picturesque areas of Europe. Breath
taking views from the River Rhine with wonderful scenery and our full
board hotel with a free bar-yes free bar are all included in this great
value package.
Day 1
We depart by luxury coach from London and after crossing the channel
we continue through France, Belgium and Germany arriving at our hotel,
a member of the Rheintal group, in the early evening.
Dinner is included upon arrival, three excellent courses with a free
bar open from 19:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs with local beers, wines and soft
drinks (no s pirits)
available.
Day 2
After breakfast we board a boat from Boppard for a cruise & to wash
away the cobwebs! The journey lasts two hours and the views are impressive
as we pass the many hillside fortresses and the world famous Loreleli
Rock, where mystic mermaids lured the crews of Rhine barges to their
downfall on the jagged rocks beneath. At Rudesheim we will visit a local
Weinhaus for wine tasting . After- free time to explore the many shops
that line the Drosselgase, or perhaps ascend the hill behind the town
by the way of "bubble" lift. A packed lunch, provided by our
hotel is included.
Dinner is included at our hotel upon our return with a free bar again
in operation until 22:00 hrs! evening entertainment is also included.
Day 3
After breakfast we commence the return journey to London with a lunch
stop in the historic Belgian city of Ghent. Again a packed lunch has
been provided by our hotel to enjoy while you sightsee.
We leave Ghent in mid afternoon and arrive back in London at approximately
22.00 hrs.
