 Day
1 London - Amsterdam
This morning we drive to Dover. We bid farewell to the White Cliffs
on our short sea crossing to Calais in France. From here it's on through
Belgium to lively Amsterdam.
Day 2 Amsterdam
- Mainz
Morning sightseeing reveals canals, bridges and a visit to a diamond-cutting
factory. Then we travel via Arnhem to the German border where we stop
in Cologne to see its Cathedral. Next, we enjoy a Rhine cruise, disembarking
in St. Goar. Then on to our hotel. CB D
Day 3 Mainz - Innsbruck
We drive to Munich where an orientation shows us the Olympic Stadium
and Marienplatz. Thena scenic drive through the mountains, into Austria
en route to Innsbruck. CB D
Day 4 Innsbruck - Venice
Morning sightseeing includes the famous Golden Roof. Then we cross the
Europa Bridge to the Brenner Pass. We cross into Italy via the foothills
of the Dolomites to Venice. CB D
Day 5 Venice - Florence 
Today we cruise along the canals and visit a glass-blowing factory.
At leisure, perhaps enjoy a cruise to the islands of the Venetian Lagoon,
before we drive to Renaissance Florence. CB D
Day 6 Florence - Italian Lakes
Time to shop or explore this city, with its Duomo and Bell Tower. We
gain a scenic view from Piazzale Michelangelo, before setting off for
the Italian and Swiss Lake Districts. On to our hotel in the Italian
Lake District. CB D
Day 7 Italian Lakes - Lucerne
Today we drive via fashionable Lugano in Switzerland. On the St. Gotthard
highway, we descend to lakeside Lucerne. Here orientation includes the
Lion Monument. CB D
Day 8 Lucerne - Paris (2)
First we drive to Basel and cross the French border to the wine-producing
area of Burgundy. We continue en route to romantic Paris. CB
Day 9 Paris at leisure
Morning sightseeing shows us the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs
Elysées and Notre Dame on the IIe da la Cite. Tonight, why not
splash out at a Parisian cabaret? CB
Day 10 Paris - London
Today we pass the Battlefields of two World Wars en route to Calais
and the French Coast where we board the ferry to Dover and on by coach
to London. CB
