Thames Boat Charter/Hire Service

Thames Clippers runs a modern fleet of boats with the capacity to carry between 12 and 220 people. All our boats are available for private charter and can be used for a range of events such as champagne receptions, product launches and filming as well as fast river transfers for parties or corporate events.

Catering Onboard

We can supply highly trained waiting staff, reception drinks and canape/finger food menus through our internationally renowned sister company, 'Silver Fleet - Woods River Cruises'. Please call for further details.

Charter Pricing

Pricing is dependant on the vessel, duration and availibility. Prices start at £255 for the first hour and go up to £1500 for the first hour, with discounts thereafter.

Ogilvy

This 12 seat executive launch is the perfect vessel for small intimate parties, bride and groom transfers, film shoots or board meetings.

Charter Information

Maximum Capacity 12 guests (indoor and outdoor seating)

The Sky, Storm and Star Clipper

Three similar vessels. 62 seats. Speed 25 knots,length 25 metres, width 5.70 metres, twin-engined and water jet driven.

The three vessels were built in the UK between 1990 and 1991.

Charter Information

Maximum Capacity 62 guests (all indoor seating).

Weekdays £480 for the first hour, including 2 pier tolls.
Weekends £550 for the first hour, including 2 pier tolls.
Additional Hours - thereafter 50% discount for each continuous hour (or part).

Special rates are available dependent on time of day and length of charter.

Hurricane Clipper

The Hurricane Clipper is the flagship of The Riverline, with its unique Damien Hirst livery, taking Londoners to work at speeds of up to 25 knots during rush hour, then running a scheduled tourist service between Tate Britain and Tate Modern via the London Eye.

The Hurricane Clipper was purchased by Thames Clippers in October 2004.

It was built in 2002 by the Australian Boat builder NQEA and designed by the Company for this express purpose.

220 seats. Outside deck. Built by NQEA in Australia. Speed 28 knots. Ultra-low wash design. Length 38 metres. Waterline length 35.4 metres. Beam 9.6 metres. Width 9.30 metres. Twin-engines and propeller driven.

Charter Information

£1500.00 for the first hour (or part of), including 2 pier tolls.
Additional hours thereafter 50% discount for each continuous hour (or part of).

Sun Clipper & Moon Clipper

Thames Clippers purchased these two additional vessels in the first quarter of 2005.

The Sun Clipper now joins up London's top two attractions with the London Eye to Tower of London Express service, getting you there in just 15 minutes.

Maximum Capacity - 138 guests (114 indoor seats and 24 seats on the rear outside deck).
Speed 25 knots. 'Ultra-low' wash
design. Length 32 metres. Width 7.80 metres. Waterline length 30.6 metres. Beam 8.13 metres
Twin-engined and propeller driven.

Charter

£850 for the first hour (or part of), including 2 pier tolls.
Additional hours thereafter are available for a 50% discount for each continuous hour (or part of).
