Driving Directions
The airport is linked to the M23 motorway. Turn off at junction 9 and follow signs for the airport. London Gatwick is also accessible from the A23 London-Brighton Road.

Car Parking
Each terminal has a short-term car park with direct access to the terminals via covered walkways; these are operated by NCP (tel: (0)870 600 7050; ). Long-term parking is also available in car parks further from the terminals; a free shuttle bus runs between the car parks and the terminals. Passengers can book at least 96 hours in advance; this can be done through BAA Advance (tel: (0)870 000 1 000; ). Valet parking is available and operated by NCP. Chauffeured parking is also available from CPS (tel: (0)870 411 1118; ). Vehicle transfer between airports, car valeting/servicing and personal chauffeuring can also be arranged through CPS.

Public Transport
Rail: Airport shuttle buses run to Canning Town and Canary Wharf, on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), with connections to the London Underground. A shuttle bus also runs to Liverpool Street Station, with connections to the London Underground and major national rail lines. For more information on national rail connections, call the 24-hour National Rail enquiries line (tel: (0)845 748 4950; ). Road: Taxi: Taxis leave from in front of the terminal building (journey time into central London: 20-30 minutes). Bus: Airport shuttle buses connect with underground stations, national rail stations and the DLR. The Green Bus runs between Canning Town and the airport. The Blue Bus runs between the airport and Liverpool Street via Canary Wharf.

Information and Help Desks
The airport information desk (tel: (0)20 7646 0088) is located on the left by the entrance to the terminal. Information on transport, parking, left-luggage and flight status are available.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: Facilities include a bank, bureaux de change, ATMs and a post box. Eating and drinking: There are several places to eat, including a restaurant, bar, trattoria and coffee shop. Shopping: There are numerous shops at the airport, including a newsagents/bookshop and a tax- and duty-free shop. A collection service is available for returning shoppers. Luggage: There is a left-luggage and lost property service at the airport (tel: (0)20 7646 0088); the information desk can provide further details. Other facilities: There is a shoeshine service.

Conference and Business Facilities
The Meridian Business Centre (tel: (0)20 7646 0900; e-mail: meridian@londoncityairport.com) has facilities for up to 120 people in a number of meeting and conference rooms which include private work offices, audiovisual equipment, secretarial support, fax, photocopying, Internet access, catering and private dining facilities. Disabled Facilities
The terminal is fully accessible to disabled passengers; aircraft boarding assistance is provided, travellers should advise the airline in advance. Airport shuttle buses have dedicated facilities for disabled passengers and there are car parking spaces close to the terminal building for disabled travellers.
