Day 1 -
Lake District
- Leave London's Euston Station at 6:30 hrs and arrive at
Oxenholme where you will be met to join your sightseeing
tour, commencing with a visit to the world of Beatrix Potter
in Bowness on Windermere. Followed by a cruise on
Windermere. We see Ambleside, and Hawkshead with its cluster
of narrow alleyways and stone houses. After your visit we
continue on to Tarn Hows, one of the most scenic and
picturesque beauty spots. Our tour continues via Coniston
Water, Great Little Langdale, Red Bank, Grasmere and
Troutbeck.

Day 2 -
Yorkshire Dales
- You will be collected from your Hotel by your Guide. A
journey through unspoilt Swaledale and Wensleydale, visit
James Herriot country. Travel through Masham and enjoy the
country market, the stone cottages, stop at Hawes for lunch.
In the afternoon we drive across the spectacular Wild
Buttertubs Pass, the fells, descending steeply into
Swaledale - rugged views and waterfalls. Last stop is
Richmond with its Norman Castle before returning to
Oxenholme in time to catch the 17:40 hrs train to London,
arriving aback at approximately 21:00 hrs.
This tour is
unescorted from the time passengers check into the hotel
until the following morning.
