San Fermin - The Running Of The Bulls Pamplona

Tour Itinerary - 7 Day Party ESTELLA

Our terrific 7 day tour offers a more extensive Pamps experience. You will be there for the opening, plus TWO Running of the Bulls on the 7th and the 8th plus the huge party night in Pamplona on the 7th. We also include a full day at ritzy San Sebastian beach resort, a local orientation party night in Estella and exclusive parties at our terrific campsite. 7 day tours depart London on July 3rd and return on July 9th.

Camping Lizarra, Estella
Our closest camp to Pamplona is Camping Lizarra at Estella. It is approx. 30 minutes by coach from the city and has excellent facilities including a bar (that hardly ever closes!), restaurant, shop, regularly cleaned toilets and showers plus a huge pool. Estella itself is a large typical Spanish village with it's own bustling nightlife and sights. Definitely worth a visit!

Day 1 - Tuesday 3rd July 2007
Check in at 11.00am at Paddington Station, Eastbourne Terrace for a 12.00noon departure to Dover. Ferry crossing to France. Once in France we take a leisurely drive south, heading around Paris, through the Loire Valley towards sunny Spain. All our coaches are full executive, complete with stereo, video and toilet.

Day 2 - Wednesday 4th July 2007
Arrive and Chill Out in Estella
We enter Spain after dawn. Climb the Basque Pyrenees and then drive around Pamplona onto our base at Estella (about 35km from Pamps). We arrive at our terrific camping ground in plenty of time to work on our suntans by the pool. There’s no need to worry about putting up your tents, as they’ll be up when you arrive. You also have the choice of dorms at no extra cost. (MUST BE PRE-BOOKED). Maybe spend the day exploring the medieval township of Estella or get into the San Fermin atmosphere at the camp’s bar (which, by the way, hardly ever closes). Tonight our Crew will walk people the short way to Estella town to hit the bars.

Day 3 - Thursday 5th July 2007
San Sebastian and Pre Pamps Party at Estella
After breakfast we offer an excursion to the ritzy beach resort of San Sebastian. Here you’ll have the day free to do some sightseeing around one of Spain’s premier beach resorts as well as maybe hitting one or two of its 400 tapas bars! Late afternoon we head back to camp at Estella for our annual Pre Pamps Party. We always begin the fiesta a day earlier with our exclusive evening party by the pool. With live music and plenty of sangria – it is a great way to begin a massive party week.

Day 4 - Friday 6th July 2007
Opening Day of San Fermin
Now the serious fun starts! After breakfast we transfer you into Pamplona with plenty of time to get your position for the traditional midday Champagne opening ceremony. At noon the rocket goes off and the fiesta really begins ... look out its sangria time! The party atmosphere in Pamplona this afternoon is truly incredible and you'll be right in the middle of it. Don't forget to wear old white clothes! Free shuttles operate to the camp again until later in the evening.

Day 5 - Saturday 7th July 2007
First Running of the Bulls!!
Feeling brave? You’ll need to be because at dawn our coaches roll into town for the first running - as always - on the 7th of the 7th. After the run you can choose to head back to camp to recover in the sun by the pool or continue to party in town all day. We offer continental breakfast back at the camp - and you can have as much as you like! PP shuttles will operate again until late in the evening - ensuring yet another big night. Maybe do an all-nighter.... party through the night and coaches will be back the next morning to return you to camp after the run.

Day 6 - Sunday 8th July 2007
Running of the Bulls Again! Head home
Here we go again. Up early for another bash at those bulls. Maybe you're a little weary - well relax and have a final dip in the camp's pool. We depart early afternoon to drive back over the Pyrenees and up through France.

Day 7 - Sunday 9th July 2007
Back to London
After an overnight journey through France we catch a morning ferry from Calais back to Dover then onto London, arriving early afternoon.
