Tour Itinerary - Flight and 4* Hotel

Our tour group meets at Heathrow Airport at 9.00am where you will be greeted by your tour leader and the rest of your travelling companions. Our scheduled departure is 10.35am and arrival in Edinburgh is 11.55. Upon arrival in Edimburgh we will make our way to the 4 Star Point Hotel where we will be accommodated throughout our short stay in the Scottish Capital.
After check-in you have free time to relax or get out and do some sightseeing before we join together in the evening to explore the Edinburgh nightlife!! We have organised for the entire group to join together at the awesome Frankensteins Bar for a huge welcome party – Welcome to Edinburgh!

No time for rest as this morning at breakfast your tour leader will issue you with your Official Street Party Pass and you are free to take in all of the Hogmanay festivities. We’ll start with a massive group party at The Walkabout Inn for the NZ (11am) & AUS (1pm) New Year Celebrations and continue on through the afternoon. As night falls it's time to head into Princes Street for the world famous street party to see in the New Year...

Welcome to 2007….A late breakfast this morning and for those who are keen there is an afternoon trip to Stirling Castle. This incredible place is well worth a visit and a great day out to start the new year. Please note entry to the Castle is optional and the admission fee is not included [approx £8].
Although Stirling is a fantastic day out, we also offer another activity for New Years Day - The Looney Dook Mid Winter Swim. This event is fantastic and a great way to start the New Year. Participants join together at 11am and then at midday are lead by a Pipe Band through the streets of South Queensferry and into the Forth. After the quick swim every participant is invited back to the local pub for Hot Toddy and Soup compliments of owners. To make things a little more exciting the event is fancy dress!
Please Note: It is only possible to partake in one activity. Either the Stirling Castle Day Trip or The Looney Dook. We highly recommend the Looney Dook but the choice is yours!

After a late breakfast, you have until midday to check out of your rooms before a final chance to do some sightseeing in Edinburgh. The hotel will securely store your luggage until we join together at 5pm and make our way to Edinburgh Airport return flight to London. The flight is scheduled to depart at 19.15 and land at Heathrow at 20.40 for the end of our Hogmanay tour.
