6 Day Coach/Camp Opening Weekend 20th - 25th September 2007

Highlights: Our 6 day 1st weekend tour arrives the day before the opening giving you the opportunity to witness the "100 club" and the huge pre fest party at camp. We include luxury coach/ferry, pre-erected tents at Camping Thalkirchen, full breakfast, tours to Dachau concentration camp and Andechs monastery, shuttles to and from Beerfest, services of experienced crew, fun and organisation.

Tour Itinerary Day 1 - Thursday 20th September 2007 FERRY CROSSING We depart from Eastbourne Terrace at Paddington station early afternoon for the ferry sailing from Dover to Calais. Once in France we take a leisurely drive through Belgium entering Germany in the wee hours. All our coaches are full executive, complete with video and loo. Day 2 - Friday 21st September 2007 ARRIVAL IN MUNICH Now the fun really starts. After arriving at the Munich camping ground "Thalkirchen" mid-morning you will be issued with your pre-erected tent and then you’ve got the day free to party. Join the mob at the camp bar or head into town to the Hofbrauhaus permanent beerhall for the pre-beerfest party, or maybe join the ‘animals’ for the ‘100 club’. Day 3 - Saturday 22nd September 2007 BEERFEST OPENING DAY After breakfast we head into the famous Oktoberfest grounds for a huge day. At noon the Munich mayor taps the first keg ... then it’s time to party! Free PP shuttle coaches take you to and from the camp. They operate throughout the day until the beerhalls close. Day 4 - Sunday 23rd September 2007 DACHAU, ANDECHS MONASTERY & BEERHALLS After breakfast we take you on a very sobering experience: a tour of the infamous Dachau concentration camp, north of Munich. This was the first of its kind built by Hitler. In the afternoon we change the mood completely by taking you to the beautiful Andechs beer monastery - the home of the famous boch beer. Then it’s back to the beerhalls for the night’s festivities. These excursions - like all our shuttles - are free. Day 5 - Monday 24th September 2007 MUNICH ... MORE BEER ? After breakfast you have a free day to check out the fantastic city of Munich - or you may care to have one last go at those beerhalls. We depart Munich early evening for a night drive back to the English Channel. Day 6 - Tuesday 25th September 2007 BACK TO LONDON We catch a morning ferry back to the White Cliffs of Dover then on to London arriving back early afternoon. When?
