Tour Itinerary Day 1 - Friday, September 21, 2007 DRIVE TO MUNICH We depart from Eastbourne terrace by Paddington station mid morning to catch an afternoon sailing from Dover to Calais. Once in France we take a leisurely drive across Belgium entering Germany in the wee hours. All our coaches are full executive, complete with video and loo. Day 2 - Saturday 22 September, 2007 OKTOBERFEST OPENING DAY!!! We arrive at Munich's famous Thalkirchen camping ground early in the morning, giving you time to check into your pre-erected tents and freshen up before breakfast. No time to sleep - it is straight into the party! We head into the massive beerfest grounds where at noon the Munich mayor taps the first keg ... then it’s stein time! Free PP shuttle coaches take you to and from the camp. They operate until the beerhalls close. Day 3 - Sunday September 23, 2007 DACHAU, ANDECHS MONASTERY & BEERHALLS After breakfast we take you on a very sobering experience: a tour of the infamous Dachau concentration camp, north of Munich. This was the first of its kind built by Hitler. In the afternoon we change the mood completely by taking you to the beautiful Andechs beer monastery - the home of the famous boch beer. Then it’s back to the beerhalls for the night’s festivities. These excursions - like all our shuttles - are free. Day 4 - Monday, September 24, 2007 MUNICH ... MORE BEER?? After breakfast you have a free day to check out the fantastic city of Munich - or you may care to have one last go at those beerhalls. We depart Munich early evening for a night drive back to the English Channel. Day 5 - Tuesday September 25, 2007 BACK TO LONDON We catch a morning ferry back to the White Cliffs of Dover then on to London arriving back early afternoon. When?
